What Is A Kid’s World (STP) Summer Transition Program?
The purpose of the Rising Kindergarten program is to provide a summer intensive academic program to support rising kindergarteners who either did not attend a Georgia’s Pre-K or Head Start Program or attended but need additional support for kindergarten.

Important Dates & Times For The Program
Drop Off Is At 8:15 a.m. & Pick Up Is At 2:45 p.m.

Is Your Child Eligible?
Your Little One Must Meet ONE Of The Following Requirements:
- Your child did not attend a Georgia’s Pre-K Program or Head Start program during the 2023-2024 school year
- Your child attended a Georgia’s Pre-K or Head Start Program, but didn't attend the entire 2023-2024 school year
- Your child attended a Georgi’s Pre-K or Head Start program the entire school year and falls into one of the priority groups listed below:
- The child was identified as needing additional academic support
- Dual language learner (home language other than English)
- Foster care placement
- The child’s family is without permanent housing (homeless as defined by the McKinney-Homeless Assistance Act)
- The child has an Individual Education Program (IEP)
